Around the dawn of the 2000s, the Dots began releasing all sorts of limited pieces via Beta-Lactam Ring. Though special in their own way, sometimes the art piece is more essential than the music. I have this one on vinyl - the foil is covered in plastic to preserve it. Having a digital copy now allows me to preserve the vinyl too and get more acquainted with the music. The title track sounds like a modern update to the earliest Dots "Playschool" type tracks: squelchy, bleepy, and cool.
Favorite track: Absence of Evidence.
