mattyg107 It's great work! The only thing it suffers from is being outtakes and not having enough songs with lyrics/vocals. This would make it a more album like experience. The two tracks that are songs (if you could even say it about Sybil the spider hah) are experimental yet accessible and title track does sound like SP, though I don't like too much SP bleeding into TG (read tired eyes review) ;) Favorite track: Sheila Liked the Rodeo.

thenewspaper Funky wackadoodle mixed with the scabrous malaise of the 1990s. The remaster sounds very rich! Favorite track: Sheila Liked the Rodeo.

RENPUNK It stands strong as companion album to the masterpiece known as The Last Man To Fly. Favorite track: Sybil the Spider (consumes himself).

Garth Shineman Not sure what I thought all these years since it's original release but to me even though this is an outtakes compilation, it has always felt complete in it's entirety and had a more uptempo than previous releases. Favorite track: Sheila Liked the Rodeo.

RTW The title track has a bit of Skinny Puppy in it, even though for the most part the Tear Garden stayed clear of that sound. The rest of these are noodly and weird, as Cevin Key tended to be in the '90s. It's definitely an outtakes record. Favorite track: Sheila Liked the Rodeo.

about

A wild mixture of the spontaneous and meticulously finished in the month that spawned "The Last Man to Fly". It's a challenging ride but the spirit
of this special time is shouting from the front row.Still can't help wondering what would have happened if some of these spontaneous improvisations had been developed into songs...nevertheless ,you can't have everything!
