As a big fan of Seconds Late for the Brighton Line, I was intrigued by this mail-order only EP and it does not disappoint. The title track is a sound-laden story song also featured on the EK/SM live 2012 release but here somewhat richer and more pristine. The real gem is the drone-heavy "Premonition 34," one of the better late entries in the series.
Favorite track: Premonition 34.
Uploaded now after a few requests. The cdr release from 2012 was a serious labour of love. The title piece was first tested in the live scenario by EK and The Silverman in Brussels in 2010, then the band played it twice in The Netherlands during the following year with music and words steadily mutating .The studio version is presented here.
Jean Jacques Birge is an artist with a history so rich with good music, it's possible to forget that there's life outside this submarine. Hours of deep listening await the curious listener. Legendary Pink Dots
